Itinerary
Because of time limitation, you can only choose Bat Trang Village or Le Mat Village.
You will be picked up at your hotel lobby and depart for Bat Trang Ceramic Village, which is a traditional trade village since 15th century. Bat Trang Village has great prestige of high quality ceramic and pottery products. Don’t miss a chance to make a ceramic product by yourself to understand how hard the process is.
If you prefer something more adventurous, let's visit Le Mat Snake Village, which is 7km away from Hanoi. The village has been famous for a traditional job of catching snakes. People from kids to the elderly are all excellent at catching sneaks. Villagers in Le Mat are not only good at catching snakes of all villagers but also serving delicious dishes made from the reptiles. If you’re concerning about safety issue, don’t worry as all snakes are in cages, not mention to an expert always following you.

After your trip in trade traditional village, we go to Co Loa Ancient Citadel, which is in Co Loa Ward – old capital of Vietnam under An Duong Vuong Emperor. It is steeped in myth and legend, making it an important landmark in the North of Vietnam. The site consists of two outer walls protecting the castle inside. Important artifacts include Dong Son style pottery and a large drum full of bronze items.
Next, we will turn back to Hanoi by train. It is a nice view from train to see local life on the way. You can see farmers working on their fields and gardens or children riding bicycles to school. Then our driver welcomes you back and takes you to a local family to learn about their living. Here you can enjoy traditional lunch at dinning place with scenic view of Red River. Then, we drive you to your hotel in Hanoi.
